As part of the ecological education activities, Balta Mică Natural Park Administration of Braila organizes annually a series of events aimed to increase the students’ awareness of the importance of biodiversity conservation. The activities that the park administration organizes annually are:
– International Wetlands Day 02 February
– International Bird Day – April 1st
– Tree Planting Month (March 15 – April 15), when students gain a useful skill for planting correctly, raising awareness of the effort made to plant a tree, students will respect and protect the trees and flowers in parks and on the green spaces between the blocks. ;
– Earth Day – April 22nd
– European Parks Day – 24th May
– World Environment Day – June 5th
– Danube Day – June 29th
